When Leola Simmons passed on in 1939 she left 2 young sons
who were taken in by relatives. Her husband Hugh Moss McCracken served in France during WWII and eventually remarried  (to Madeline Sawyer), had a boy and a girl and due to his job moved to Penn. The 2 boys he had with Leola stayed in Oswego (one now lives in Ohio).
